The Neverending Story

The Neverending Story

We re-watched The Neverending Story this past weekend.  Wow, it had been a LONG time since last watching it.  What a great story!  Looked it up in Wikipedia to find out that it was originally a

German fantasy novel by Michael Ende, first published in 1979. The standard English translation, by Ralph Manheim, was first published in 1983. The novel was later adapted into several films.

I am definitely going to have to find an ebook version of the standard English translation and hopefully it is even better than the movie.

Room 303, the inspiration for Stephen King’s short-story-turned-John-Cusack-film, “1408,” is located at the Omni Parker House in Boston, Massachusetts.  More here.

The short story itself can be read here.
